About Me

The engineer
behind the systems

I'm Syed Asif, a DevOps & Cyber Security Engineer at FCOOS Technologies in Bengaluru, where I design, build, and maintain the Linux infrastructure that keeps the business running 24/7.

I work across Linux systems, container orchestration, and network security — Galera database clusters, HAProxy load balancers, IPsec/GRE tunnels with StrongSwan and FRRouting, and full observability stacks built on Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

I've built and shipped highly-available Nextcloud and mail infrastructure, migrated a Kubernetes portfolio deployment from a self-hosted cluster to GKE with GitOps, and written a modular Go/Bash reconnaissance toolkit for asset discovery.

I'm growing deliberately toward Cloud, DevOps, and SRE roles — deepening my Kubernetes and Google Cloud practice while keeping the Linux and security fundamentals that everything else stands on.
